Deacon is all about helping others (after all, doesn't just looking at his face cheer you up?) and this Valentines Day, he wants to bring the love to some ladies in need. Our friend sent us this wonderful volunteer opportunity, and we hope you'll consider helping out.
Pretty 'n Polished Day 2009
On Saturday, February 14th from 8:30am-12:30pm through McLean Bible church, help a group of women at Sunrise Assisted Living nursing home (1330 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington, DC) to give residents simple manicures and hand massages.
So many elderly women feel forgotten and this is a really special opportunity to help these ladies feel beautiful and loved in a very simple but powerful way.
