We're not normally ones to post about ourselves, but Deacon is on a little bit of a vacation and kindly allowed us to take over the blog for a day or so. So we just couldn't resist showing off our belated Christmas present, an absolutely gorgeous emerald-cut vintage citrine from Chas Schwartz at the Willard hotel!We'd been on the hunt for something like this forever, as the vintage blue topaz from our great-grandmother is practically surgically attached to our right hand. So, after searching high and low (and finding horribly overpriced versions at Tiffany & Co.) ... we found it!
Here it is, set in the perfect shade of pale rose gold (that's pink, if you don't know), which sets off the vibrant sun-colored stone to perfection.
SO thrilled, and thanks to M for the fabulous gift :-)
