Go Tax-Free
Starting at 12:01 AM on Friday, November 27, all clothing, gift, and accessory items purchased in DC are tax-free. Each item must cost $100 or less, but the discount still applies if the total bill is more than $100. Enjoy exemptions through midnight on Sunday, December 7.

Midnight Madness
Many Washington outlet malls offer late-night deals so that night owls can get their shopping on with exclusive savings. Check Web sites for details.

Bethesda Row’s Best
Ginger and Urban Chic are showing true holiday spirit by offering 50 percent off their entire stores’ merchandise on Friday from 9 to 10 AM, 40 percent off from 10 AM to 1 PM, and 30 percent off on Sunday. (The deal extends to all Urban Chic locations.)

White Friday:
If wedding bells are in your future, don’t miss Harriet Kassman’s bridal sample sale, where sample gowns are 50 percent off beginning Friday until they are all sold.

Pink Friday:
Knock 40 percent off all fall merch at Pink Palm in McLean. Lily lovers, look out!

Stress Savers
Montgomery County residents should stop outside Macy’s in Westfield Montgomery mall for the Healthy Back Stores’ massage-a-thon for charity, where you can nab a 15-minute massage for $5, with proceeds benefiting Toys for Tots. While you’re waiting, test out Sono Massage Chairs, a $6,000 luxury that’s sure to soothe your aching back (we can’t promise anything about the wallet, however).

Hysterical Sales
Take 30 percent off all nonsale merchandise and an additional 10 percent off sale items all weekend at Old Town favorite Hysteria.

We’ve Got the (Sample Sale) Fever
Treat yourself to an extra day of discounts at the normally weekend-only Old Town boutique Treat, where customers will receive a gratis chocolate turkey with their purchase and a drawing for an additional 15 to 30 percent off the entire purchase.

Sweet Sale
Starting Friday, knock 20 percent off at Georgetown’s Wink. While you’re shopping, enjoy free cupcakes and bubbly. Plus, enjoy an exclusive trunk show by local designer Haeli Staar on Saturday and Sunday.

Sole Searching
Take 25 percent off most merchandise at the Georgetown shoe haven Sassanova as part of its ongoing sale. Merchandise at Bethesda Row’s Little Shoe Box is also 30 percent off as part of its ongoing sale. Simply Soles also slashed 40 percent off their styles, so hie thyself to Columbia Heights as well!

Breakfast-Time Browsing
At the Annapolis boutique Paradigm, where most merchandise is already less than $100, knock an extra percentage off the entire store’s merchandise, plus enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts while you shop. The store opens an hour early on Friday, at 9 AM.

Don’t Be Blue
Get 30 to 50 percent off all merchandise at the Clarendon and Reston locations of the new high-end denim boutique Farinelli’s.

Luxe furniture and clothing boutique Muléh (muleh.com) is knocking 30 percent off all full-priced fashion from Friday through Sunday (no furniture or lighting). Plus, much of the store’s merchandse is already marked down to 40 percent off retail, final sale only.
