After many moons of waiting, On The Fly finally brings their hot green carts to Rosslyn and Crystal City. Think of it as fast food with a fresh twist-- local chefs create eco-friendly and locally sourced foods for sale at zero-emission smartkarts around the area. Other "to go" locations include Chinatown, the National Mall and Farragut North.
Expect noshings like tacos, empanadas and chili in the Arlington locations.
My personal spot: corner of North Lynn and Wilson Boulevard. 11 AM - 3 PM weekdays.
