Say Yum: The Wharf Farmers Market Opens on Southwest Waterfront

7th Street Landing at 7th & Water Street SW is the hot new place to be with the opening of The Wharf Farmers Market at the Southwest Waterfront. In addition to offering an abundance of fresh, local produce, The Wharf Farmers Market will feature live entertainment, prepared foods, and a selection of wine and beer every Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. through September.

Vendors include The Mobile Market, Buzz Bakery and Red Apron Butchery & hot dog cart as well as a rotating selection of local farmers, vendors and artisans.

The farmer’s market is one of the many new amenities at The Wharf this summer. There will be live music every Thursday and Friday, free outdoor yoga classes on Saturday mornings and King Ribs Bar-B-Q every Friday through Sunday and is also the new home of the Washington Castles.
