Here's a not-so-secret secret. Deacon loves car rides. Granted, he can't drive, but he sure does love putting his paws near the wheel, or at least looking out the window. So this holiday season, McLean & Deacon will be taking lots of travels to see the neighborhoods with the best lighting displays and wondering about all the fun decor they have inside.
If you think your pad is up to snuff, you might consider vying for more than just Deacon's approval and entering Northern Virginia Magazine's holiday decorating contest. There's a winner in both the "indoor" and "outdoor" categories, so you can even enter if you live in a condo or apartment! The prize isn't huge (but you do get a restaurant gift card) ... but you'll earn bragging rights and Deacon's eternal love.
