Say Yum: Redwood Cures Your "I'm To Broke To Eat Out" Blues
It's easy to get sucked into a splurge-less rut, especially given the doom-and-gloom economic news coming out of just about every outlet imaginable. But area restaurants are still clamoring for your business, and many have launched special promotions geared towards diners like yourselves who are looking to go out on a budget.
One of my favorite picks is from Redwood in Bethesda, the super-chic restaurant located in the heart of Bethesda Row.
Through the end of the month, enjoy a two-course lunch for $15, or a three-course dinner for $35. Dishes include signature American classics like flat-iron steak, plus delectable-sounding desserts like butterscotch pudding with chocolate puree and gingersnap cookies.
For those searching for even more ways to stretch the dollar, make a rezzie Sunday through Wednesday, where all bottles of wine are half off from 5 to 9 pm.
