Say Yum: Very Berry Barack Cupcakes at Hello Cupcake

Everyone else might be sick of the cupcake trend, but Deacon says that it's very hard to grow tired of actually EATING anything dessert-worthy.

Plus, we're huge fans of Hello Cupcake, Penny Karas' adorable Dupont Circle shop, which features a wide selection of rotating flavors.

In celebration of the inauguration, she's even created a Very Berry Obama cupcake …an explosion of red and blue berries in our moist vanilla cake, topped with tangy/sweet vanilla cream cheese frosting and an American flag.


We think these would be perfect for the party we're hosting ... on our couch, away from the crowds. :-)
