Say Yum: Flip for Burgers - It's National Burger Month!

Sure, you could hit up BGR, Rays Hell Burger, ZBurger, Five Guys or even Big Buns ... but sometimes, you crave a bit more of a fine dining experience. Savor these gourmet creations at DC area restaurants during National Burger Month.

701 Restaurant
The "701 Burger" is made with Roseda Beef and topped with a fried green tomato, bacon, and herb mayonnaise served with fries. $13, available in the restaurant during lunch service Monday through Friday and on the outdoor patio and in the lounge from 3 PM on.  

AGAINN 
Choose from two options during lunch at this British Isles hotspot. The Virginia Grass Fed Beef Burger is topped with caramelized onions and farmstead cheddar on a house-made brioche bun, while the Fish Burger is served with marinated tomato, pickled fennel, and saffron aioli on a brioche bun. Both are served with a choice of chips or house salad, and priced between $14 and $15 each.

Ardeo+Bardeo 

Savor their Char-broiled Natural Beef Burger, made with white cheddar, house bacon, onion strings, and a buttered brioche. Priced at $12.95, the burger is available during Sunday brunch and daily dinner service.

BlackSalt Fish Market & Restaurant 

Don't want to go for the catch of the day? Sample the Wood Grilled Cheeseburger. Priced at $15, the grilled cheeseburger is topped with Blacksalt bacon, cheddar, and potato hash. Additionally, from 2:30 PM to 4 PM daily, the restaurant also features a Pineland Farms Cheeseburger, prepared with Amish cheddar and crispy onions and priced at $16.

Cafe Atlantico

This may not be the first thing you think of when you hit up this Jose Andres resto, but the CafĂ© Burger is a treat.  Priced at $14 and is served on brioche with cheddar cheese, and served with a house-made pickle, the burger is accompanied by herb French fries, mixed greens, or malanga chips.

Addie’s 

The resto is offering up a 100% Angus beef burger cooked on a wood fire grill, served on a Kaiser roll with bibb lettuce, smoked onions, and Addie’s special sauce. During lunch service, the Addie’s burger is priced at $12 and served with shoestring French fries. At dinner, the burger is priced at $14 and served with house made tater tots and local field greens. During both lunch and dinner, guests can add Smokey Benton bacon or cheese options such as Havarti, Great Hill Bleu Cheese, white cheddar, and brie for an additional $2 each.

Black Market Bistro

Order up the Hardwood Grilled Black Market Burger during both lunch and dinner service. Priced at $12, the burger is topped with lettuce and crispy onions and served on a sesame seed bun.

Redwood Restaurant & Bar 

Check out one of the three burgers varieties are available during lunch service: the Roseda Farms Dry Aged Beef Burger; the Redwood Chili Burger, made with Cubanelle peppers and cheddar as well as the White Bean & Wild Mushroom Veggie Burger. Each is priced between $12 and $14 at lunch. The Roseda Farms Dry Aged Beef Burger and the White Bean & Wild Mushroom Veggie Burger are also available during dinner service for $15. Each burger is served on a warm brioche bun with house made pickles, lettuce, tomato, and a choice of side salad or hand-cut fries. For an additional $2, customers can add cheese and bacon and for an additional $3 can add mushrooms. Additionally, Redwood also offers two mini burgers served with house made chips on their bar menu for $8, and just $5 during happy hour.
