Luxe Life: Julia Farr Boutique

Last week, Deacon had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Julia Farr, owner of new Friendship Heights boutique Julia Farr. Housed slightly off the beaten path but nevertheless walkable from Mazza Gallerie, Farr's boutique resembles a cross between a townhouse loft and Parisian boudoir, all comfortable couches, girly colors, and homey touches, like a fridge filled with water and a coffee maker at-the-ready to whip up a drink to your liking.

The boutique boasts some of our favorite names - ADAM, Halston Heritage, Ralston Handbags and Milly, plus the store's own line of basics. Farr offers shopping on a single purchase or consulting basis, and can be contracted by the season to help with in-home consults and special event excursions.

The former lawyer and Worth clothing saleswoman looks to have a winning proposition on her hands with this new boutique - we're excited to follow her progress and to tell our readers about her many upcoming trunk shows and events. Also ... stay tuned for a special reader offer in January's Washingtonian magazine.

In the meantime- check out these images of the boutique!
